Pioneering Telugu Film Producer Creating Memorable Cinematic Experiences.

Ancestral Legacy

Yash Rangineni (originally Yashodhar Rao Rangineni), was born on March 11th  1970. He hails from Telangana, India, and was born into a prominent Velama family. In the pre-independence era, Yash Rangineni's grandfather held the position of a Zamindar, overseeing seven villages under Kollapur Samastanam. Yash's father, Rangineni Gopal Rao, was a highly respected scholar and educator, recognized as one of the first graduates from the Velama community in Mahabub Nagar district. He had exceptional proficiency in English and Urdu, which led to strong connections with the Hyderabad Nizam's family. Yash's mother, Pramila Devi Rangineni, was a devout Hindu and renowned for her philanthropy, known for her acts of charity and her poetic compositions dedicated to Lord Krishna.

Academic Pursuits and Professional Journey

After graduating from Osmania University in Hyderabad, Yash embarked on a journey to London, United Kingdom, at the age of 22 to pursue higher studies with only £500 in his pocket. Despite facing numerous challenges, including instances of racism, Yash successfully completed an MBA in Marketing & Sales. He held various senior management positions in multiple organizations. Currently, he works as a Primary Care Network Managing Director for England's NHS (National Health Service) and Commissioning health services. Yash has been residing in London for the past 30 years with his wife, Priya Rangineni and two daughters.

AS A PRODUCER

Yash Rangineni’s passion for movies developed during his childhood, inspired by his grandfather and father’s encouragement of local talent. His unwavering commitment to the film industry led him to produce the highly successful Telugu film “Pellichoopulu” under the Big Ben Cinemas banner. Starring his nephew, Vijay Deverakonda, in his debut lead role, the movie became a global sensation, breaking box office records and enjoying a remarkable 100-day theatrical run in Hyderabad. Yash’s production journey continued with acclaimed films like “ABCD American Born Confused Desi,” “Dear Comrade,” “Dorasani,” “Bhaag Saale,” and the highly anticipated “Annapurna Photo Studio,” set to be another blockbuster hit. His contributions to the industry earned him prestigious accolades, including the 2016 Filmfare Award for Best Film – Telugu, the 2016 Nandi Award for Best Feature Film for the sensational “Pellichoopulu”, and a National Film Award for the Best Feature Film Category – Pelli Choopulu (a joint production of Dharmapath Creations and Big Ben Cinemas).
